New Delhi: The Central Election Committee (CEC) of Congress will meet on Saturday. In this meeting, the names of candidates for Rae Bareli, Amethi and some other Lok Sabha constituencies can be approved. Sources said that the CEC meeting will be held on Saturday evening. Sources say that Rae Bareli and Amethi Lok Sabha constituencies of Uttar Pradesh may be discussed in the meeting. Former Congress President Sonia Gandhi decided not to contest elections from Rae Bareli this time and has been elected to Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan. He represented the region for two decades. Rahul Gandhi was a Lok Sabha member from Amethi from 2004 to 2019. He had to face defeat in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from BJP candidate and Union Minister Smriti Irani. Modi is increasing our seats through campaigning – Congress
Congress on Friday took a dig at PM Modi regarding its manifesto. This sarcasm was made by media department head Pawan Kheda on behalf of Congress. He said that we did not have enough money to promote our manifesto. He promoted us. Kheda alleged that PM Modi is continuously lying and people’s trust in his words is decreasing. Congress said that a decline was recorded in many cases.
