Rafael Araneda and the harassment of Mon Laferte in Rojo: “I never realized it”

In CHV’s Podemos Hablar, the former Rojo host commented on the harassment allegations against Jaime Román, who was convicted of child sexual exploitation in 2013.

Rafael Araneda spoke out to refer to Mon Laferte’s statements in her Netflix documentary, where she gave an account of the harassment she suffered at the hands of Jaime Román, former music producer of Rojo, during her time on the TVN talent show.

In My Laferte, I love you, The artist born in Viña del Mar recounted Román’s harassment in Rojo, stating that “it was horrible. Every time I saw him he was harassing me. “I mean, we’re talking about the five years that the program lasted. That, for me, was the worst thing that happened to me in Rojo.”

In Podemos Hablar de CHV, the former host of Rojo commented on the harassment allegations against Jaime Román, who was convicted of child sexual exploitation in 2013.

Along these lines, Rafael Araneda pointed out that “I never realized what was going on there. I was surprised when the whole plot surrounding Jaime and the accusations that were made came to light.”

“You (Julio César) were also part of Rojo and I don’t think anyone knew that. I am nobody to ignore that pain, it is very serious, very serious,” added the former host of the Viña del Mar Festival.

Jaime Román was sentenced to four years of probation after admitting in a summary trial that obtained sexual services from minors, within the framework of Operation Heidi.
