Rafael Nadal advances to Australian Open tennis final

The Grand Slam tournament is the Australian Open tennis tournament taking place in Melbourne.

The first semi-final took place yesterday morning in the men’s singles category. Rafael Nadal (Spain), ranked 6th, and Beretini (Italy), ranked 7th, competed in the competition.

The first 2 sets were captured by Radol. The 3rd set was settled by Perettini. Rafael Nadal easily captured the 4th set. In the end, Nadal won the set 6-3, 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 and advanced to the final.

He will face either Medvedev of Russia or Tsitsipas of Greece in the final.

Rafael Nadal is set to win his 21st Grand Slam title.

Nadal enters the Australian Open final for the 6th time. He has won the Australian Open only once (2009).

The final of the women’s singles division takes place today at 2 p.m. The number one player in the title race is Ashley Party (Australia) – Danielle Collins (USA).

Ashley Party, who won the Wimbledon title last year and the French Open title in 2019, is on the verge of winning her 3rd Grand Slam title. He entered the final for the first time at the Australian Open.

Collins, ranked 30th, has qualified for the Grand Slam final for the first time.
