The tremendous comeback continues: Rafael Nadal won this morning (Sunday) the Acapulco tournament, after beating British Cameron Nuri (12 in the world) 4: 6, 4: 6. Thus the bull from Mallorca continued his wonderful year, in which he has already won three titles including the 21st Grand Slam title, and remains undefeated.
It was Nadal’s 91st (!) Title in his career, and his fourth in Acapulco. He now stands at 15 straight wins in 2022, and 11 straight wins in the finals in which he participated.

“I always have a warm place in my heart for Acapulco. I really like this place. The energies that the Mexicans instill in me are very special,” Nadal said after winning the tournament, during which he did not drop a single set. Nadal also currently holds the title of the youngest winner of the tournament (he won it in 2005 when he was 18) and also the oldest (35, now).
“I had some difficult moments in the game, but I was able to overcome them. I’m happy, it’s a very important title for me, I could not be happier,” Nadal signed.
