São Paulo defeated Flamengo 1-0 this Sunday, at the Maracanã stadium, in the first game of the Copa do Brasil final. After the match, right-back Rafinha, one of the highlights of the match, praised the team’s attitude.
“Congratulations to the team. It’s very difficult to play here (Maracanã), we’re happy to have won today, but we have 90 more minutes. We have to play another impeccable game like today. Slowly, one game doesn’t do anything,” commented the player.
Experienced, Rafinha also made a point of reinforcing that, despite the advantage obtained in the first game, the moment is to keep our feet on the ground and focus for the second game, which will be held next Sunday (24), at the Morumbi stadium. The full-back also took the opportunity to thank the fans for their support.
“It’s always good to win regardless of the result, but let’s leave the euphoria to our fans.
