In the final of the Tulip Cup series, South Zone team led by Hanuma Vihari and West Zone team led by Ragane clashed. In this match, West Zone won the toss and elected to bat first. The team scored 270 runs in the first innings with Hed Patel’s 98 runs. After that, Baba Indrajith scored a century for the South Zone team, which scored 327 runs and took a lead of 57 runs.
Following this, in their second innings, the West Zone team performed well. Opener Yashvi Jaiswal scored 265 runs and Sarfaraz Khan scored 127 runs. Shreyas Iyer, Hed Patel and Priyank Panjal also showed action and the team took 585 ticker.

Battling for around 31 overs, the team was all out for 234 runs. Ravi Teja was the only consolation with 53 runs. With this, West Zone won the series by 294 runs. He scored a double century as the man of the match

Although the West Zone team won the series, both captain Rakhine and man of the match Jaiswal had to face a bitter incident during today’s match. During the 50th over of the final innings, Ravi Teja, who was batting, and Jaiswal, who was fielding at short slip, got into an argument. Immediately, the West Zone captain Rakane, who was fielding, pacified both of them and held a private discussion with his teammate Jaiswal.
However, as Jaiswal again got into an argument with Ravi Teja, Rakhine asked him to leave the field. Then, Jaiswal too walked towards the pavilion. On his way to the pavilion he left, muttering something to himself. However, a few overs later, in the 65th over of the innings, he came back to field.
20-year-old Yashashvi Jaiswal is currently playing in first-class cricket and the IPL series. He has been playing for the Rajasthan team in the IPL and has scored 547 runs in 23 matches. He is a left-handed batsman and is the team’s opener.
