jpnn.comJAKARTA – Chairman of the Indonesian Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) Rahmat Bagja encouraged the staff in the secretariat to improve their abilities to support Bawaslu’s duties.

He conveyed this when closing the National Conference on Evaluation of Administrative and Technical Support for the Secretariat in Supervising the Implementation of the 2024 Election Wave II.

According to Bagja, improving the staff’s capabilities will be very useful to support the work and functions of Bawaslu.

“Ladies and gentlemen, fellow chairmen, please pay attention to the formation, expertise, and skills of fellow staff. We see that fellow staff have expertise and abilities that support Bawaslu,” said Bagja in his statement quoted on Thursday (15/8).

Bagja said that in 2025 Bawaslu will open leadership education and training (diklat).

He also encouraged staff to attend leadership training at other institutions to improve staff capabilities.

Not only staff, he also asked the heads of secretariat to attend mediator training.

“The secretariat heads must hold on to the stages and schedules. Later, if there is a dispute, who will facilitate the secretariat head and sub-section heads. Who will take minutes of the secretariat friends,” he explained.

Chairman of Bawaslu RI Rahmat Bagja assessed that improving the staff’s capabilities would be very useful to support the work and functions of Bawaslu.
