“Rahul Gandhi Announces Implementation of 5 Major Promises for Karnataka’s Progress”

During the swearing-in ceremony of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of Karnataka, Rahul Gandhi announced that the cabinet would approve the five key promises made during the state’s elections. These promises included monthly payments of Rs 200,000, 200 units of free electricity, and free bus travel for girls. Gandhi expressed his gratitude for the people of Karnataka for defeating politics of corruption and hatred in the state and then went on to outline the five promises made. He assured the audience that the Congress party would keep its promises and that a cabinet meeting would be held shortly to legally approve the five promises. The Congress government aims to support farmers and unemployed youth and promises a corruption-free government. Congress was elected as the government of the people in Karnataka.

Bangalore: Rahul Gandhi has said that the cabinet will approve the 5 major promises made during the Karnataka elections, including Rs 200,000 per month, 200 units of electricity and free bus travel for girls. People of Karnataka are happy with this.

Siddaramaiah sworn in as Chief Minister of Karnataka today. DK Sivakumar took over as Deputy Chief Minister. 8 more took charge as ministers. Rahul Gandhi spoke at this swearing-in ceremony. Then he said:

You (people) have defeated the politics of corruption and politics of hate in Karnataka. They have abandoned hatred and given way to love. Election campaign We made 5 key promises. All these 5 promises will be legally implemented after the cabinet meeting.

We announced Rs.2000 per month as our first promise. We said 2nd promise is 200 units of free electricity for households. As the 3rd promise, we said that 10 kg of arishi will be free in the Annabhagya scheme.

As the 4th promise, we announced free travel scheme for women in buses. As a 5th promise, we announced that we will give Rs.3000 to those who have completed their degree and are unemployed, and Rs.1,500 to those who have completed their diploma and are unemployed.

We do not make false promises. We will keep our promise. A cabinet meeting will be held in a few hours. The 5 promises approved by this meeting will be legally implemented. Congress always does what it says.

This Congress government will aim to support farmers and unemployed youth. We promise to give a corruption free government. All of you have voted for the Congress party. We will never forget this. The Government of Karnataka will be the government of the people,” he said.
