Accordingly, while he was hiking on the Kanyakumari-Thiruvananthapuram highway early this morning, he went to a roadside tea shop to rest. In this case, the owner of the tea shop shared his experience of Rahul Gandhi coming to his shop and having tea and taking a photo with him.

“Suddenly, I was very surprised to find a VIP coming to my shop. I heard that Rahul Gandhi’s yatra is passing through this route. I was also waiting to see his walk. But I did not expect him to come to my shop to eat.

Five minutes before Rahul Gandhi came to my shop, a party official came and told me that Rahul was coming here and to clean the table. Subsequently, the road was closed by security officials as soon as he reached my shop.

Rahul came here and had tea, biscuits and fruits. He bought me tea twice and drank it. At that time, I was the only one in the shop. He invited me to take a photo with him while leaving after eating. He immediately called my wife and took a picture with her. He also said that he was very happy when Rahul Gandhi invited him for a photo shoot, adding that it was the first time that a big leader visited his shop.

Rahul Gandhi, who walks a distance of 25 km every day, is on his 5th day of walking. He plans to cover a total distance of 3,500 km from Kanyakumari to Kashmir in 150 days. It is also said that this walk is going to be done in 12 states. He has come to Kerala after Tamil Nadu, and he is going on a 18-day trek here. After that, he will reach Karnataka on September 30 and trek there for 21 days. It is noteworthy that there is a trip to the northern states from there.
