Patiala: Navjot Singh Sidhu praised Rahul Gandhi soon after he was released from jail after ten months in a homicide case. Punjab Congress leader and former cricketer Sidhu was jailed in 1988 in the case of the murder of Gurnam Singh. The Congress leader was sentenced to one year rigorous imprisonment. Sidhu’s release comes with two months left to complete his sentence.
Navjot Singh Sidhu praised Rahul Gandhi after he came out of jail. “Democracy is in chains today. Punjab is the shield of this country. When dictatorship came in this country, there was also a revolution led by Rahul Gandhi. Rahul is the name of revolution’.
