Kabul: The Taliban announced that they had killed eight IS terrorists. The Taliban officially announced that they had raided ISIS hideouts and killed eight ISIS terrorists. Taliban spokesman Sabijullah Mujahid said the raids were carried out in Kabul and western Nimroz province on Wednesday. Mujahid said that the terrorists who were killed were the ones who had planned terrorist attacks like Kabul hotel attack, Pakistan embassy attack and airbase attack.

After running out of ammunition, the violence was withdrawn.
The main rival of the Taliban in Afghanistan is ISIS-K, a local group of ISIS. IS has carried out several attacks since the Taliban took over in 2021. The Taliban took power in Afghanistan in August 2021 after 20 years of civil war.
