On Sunday night, the southern suburb witnessed a series of violent raids, during which Israeli warplanes targeted the area with eight raids, the sound of explosions echoing, some of them in various Lebanese regions, according to eyewitnesses, while dozens of buildings were leveled to the ground.

During the past hours, the Israeli army blew up buildings in the towns of Deir Siryan and Al-Adisa in the eastern sector of southern Lebanon, and recorded ground tremors that were felt by residents of neighboring towns on both sides of the border, thinking it was an earthquake.
In parallel, attempts to penetrate deep into the Lebanese border areas continued, and the Israeli army continued its policy of “wiping out” entire villages, by booby-trapping residential squares and blowing them up. This is precisely what happened in the past hours in the towns of Dersarian and Al-Adaysah, where bombings carried out by the Israelis caused ground tremors that were felt by residents of neighboring towns on both sides of the border, thinking it was an earthquake. The occupation army also bombed and demolished residential homes in neighborhoods close to the barbed wire in the town of Al-Adissa.
He explained that the Israeli army is thus completing a plan it is following, which calls for blowing up homes and residential squares in the border area and leveling them to the ground. In addition, the Israeli army announced that it destroyed with “400 tons of explosives an underground strategic military facility” established by Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, noting that the facility was in a tunnel more than one and a half kilometers long.
