Raids | They are looking for members of a hitman gang in Escuintla

It’s news. The Guatemalan Security forces carried out 29 raids on residences located in Escuintla, since 6:00 a.m. on Friday, January 11, 2024.

• The proceedings are coordinated by the Immediate Reaction Unit in coordination with the National Civil Police (PNC), as confirmed by the Public Ministry (MP).
• “The inspection and registration operations in properties located in the department of Escuintla are related to acts against the life and integrity of people,” declared the MP.
• The National Civil Police indicated that the proceedings plan to execute several arrest warrants and collect evidence to strengthen the ongoing investigation processes.
