From October 7 to 8, repair work at Tapa railway station will change the timetable for the Tallinn – Rakvere, Tallinn – Narva and Tallinn – Aegviidu lines for Saturday evening and Sunday morning, Elron’s press service reports.
“Changes to the weekend schedule will affect passengers on the routes Tallinn – Aegviidu, Tallinn – Rakvere and Tallinn – Narva,” said Elron PR Manager Kristo Mäe. “Due to repair work at Tapa station, the departure times of some flights will change, and for some departures on the Rakvere – Tapa section, the train will be replaced by a bus. “Elron apologizes to passengers for any inconvenience caused by the changes caused by the renovation.”
Schedule changes on October 7
1. Flight No. 23 Narva – Tallinn departs at 18:48 (regular departure time is 19:39).
2. On the Tallinn – Rakvere route No. 226, departing at 21:48 in Tape, you transfer to a bus, which arrives in Rakvere at 23:35.
Schedule changes on October 8
1. Rakvere – Tallinn route No. 221 departs at 5:37 (regular departure time 6:05) by bus from Rakvere bus stop “Raudteejaam”. There is a train connection in Tapa, which arrives in Tallinn at 7:28.
2. Tallinn – Narva, flight number 220 departs at 7:29 (regular departure time at 6:55) and arrives in Narva at 10:10.
3. Flight Narva – Tallinn No. 223 departs at 6:50 (regular departure time at 7:02) and arrives in Tallinn at 9:37.
4. Flight No. 21 Narva – Tallinn departs at 10:20 (regular departure time at 9:51) and arrives in Tallinn at 12:39.
5. Time delay – Tallinn flight number 415 departs at 11:40 (regular departure time 11:50) and arrives Tallinn at 12:30.

Repair work on the Tapa-Tartu railway section, which began on September 25, will lead to changes in the timetables of the Tallinn-Tartu, Tallinn-Koidula, Tallinn-Valga, Tallinn-Aegviidu and Tallinn-Narva trains until the end of 2024. After completion of the work, the speed of passenger trains on the line can be increased, as well as new Škoda trains can be introduced on the Tartu Line.
