Rain and storms are expected in various parts of the country on Tuesday, according to a report from the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources.
In this regard, meteorologist David Pichinte Quele explained that, during the morning, the sky will be clear to slightly cloudy. During the afternoon, an increase in cloudiness is expected in high areas, with the possibility of rain and storms in mountainous areas and in different points of the volcanic mountain range, with emphasis on sectors in the north, northeast and west, moving west-southwest towards their vicinity, and around the central departments.
Towards the end of the afternoon and early evening, thunderstorms are expected with the potential to extend from the eastern zone towards the central, western and coastal areas.
The meteorologist explained that the wind will be from the northeast in the morning and at night; and in the afternoon, there will be a sea breeze from the southwest, with speeds of 09 to 18 kilometers per hour (km/h). Temperatures will be cool in the morning and warm in the afternoon.
The environmental institution also indicated that with the combination of atmospheric patterns present in the country, the formation of storms is expected, accompanied by electrical activity and wind gusts exceeding 35 km/h, focused on the places of formation and movement.
