The passage of a new tropical wave will continue to bring rain and storms accompanied by gusts of wind in El Salvador on Wednesday, the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources said.
The environmental institution indicated that during the morning there will be partly cloudy skies with some rain on the coastal strip of the eastern zone. By midday, the rains could move towards the volcanic chain in the central and western zones.
In the afternoon, rainy activity will be concentrated in the departments of Chalatenango, Cuscatlán, San Salvador, La Libertad, La Paz, Usulután, Sonsonate, Santa Ana and Ahuachapán. These rains could be accompanied by gusts of wind.
At night, no significant rain or storms are expected in most of the country and skies will remain partly cloudy, with winds at speeds of between 8 and 20 kilometers per hour.
The Ministry of the Environment also noted that the hot weather and warm temperatures will continue, with greater emphasis on the hours of greatest sunshine in almost the entire national territory.
