Trichy: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin today launched the Vanavil scheme for students of classes 6 to 8 studying in government schools in Trichy.

There are a total of 20 lakh students from 6th to 8th grade studying in 13 thousand 200 government schools across Tamil Nadu.

The Government of Tamil Nadu has decided to start a new program called Vanavil Monram to learn about science, technology, engineering and mathematics among them through the explanation of the new process.

Accordingly, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin today flagged off the rainbow forum and mobile science labs at Govt Adi Dravidar Welfare Girls Higher Secondary School, Kattur Papakurichi, Trichy district to stimulate the science interest of government school students.

It has been announced that this program has been started to stimulate interest in science among school students by appointing a volunteer to 20 schools through this rainbow forum. And for this project as the first phase Rs. 25 crore has been allocated. After that, he visited the Vanavil forum at Government Adi Dravidar Welfare Girls Higher Secondary School and interacted with the students. Then the students demonstrated the science of explaining the light path process.

Government officials including Municipal Administration Minister KN Nehru, School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poiyamozhi, MPs S. Thirunavukarasar, Trichy Siva, School Education Department Seniority Secretary Kakarla, School Education Commissioner Nandakumar, Usha Corporation Mayor Anbazagan, East Assembly Constituency Member Udararaj, etc. And many teachers and students participated. In the end District Collector M. Pradeep Kumar thanked.
