Chicago: Indian-American lawmaker Raja Krishnamoorthi said on Thursday that China wants Republican Party candidate Donald Trump to win the US presidential election. Krishnamoorthi, a lawmaker from Illinois, is the only Indian-American lawmaker to address the Democratic National Conference in Chicago. Krishnamoorthi, a senior member of a committee on China affairs in the House of Representatives, said, “A top Chinese leader has written a book titled America Against America and he thinks he will win this way. The only way to defeat America is to defeat ourselves.”
He said his job in Congress is to study China’s economy.
