The awardees went to Los Angeles, USA to attend the Oscars along with ‘RRR’ director Rajamouli, actors Ramcharan and Jr NTR. Since they didn’t have free tickets, Rajamouli seems to have personally got the tickets by paying around Rs 20 lakh per person. It has been reported that only music composer Keeravani and lyricist Chandra Bose, who were on the award list, were given free tickets.
Along with Rajamouli, his wife, son, daughter-in-law, actor Ram Charan and his wife, actor Jr. NTR participated in the function. Accordingly, it has been reported that about Rs.1.44 crore has been spent on these tickets.
