Madrasa has established a hospital in Antra village in Ajmer district of Rajasthan to provide basic health facilities to all communities. This is the first such hospital where the health of the villagers is being taken care of. This hospital is providing health services to all people in rural areas where medical facilities are lacking. This hospital is supported by Zakat and other charitable funds.

Since its establishment in December 2021, the hospital on the premises of the Madrasah has delivered 200 women with a capacity of 40 beds, including 9 by caesarean section.

Setting an example of communal harmony in rural Rajasthan, the hospital was established by Dawat-ul-Haq. The institution has been imparting religious education since 1998 and has been registered with the state government’s education department to run several schools in the year 2009-10. A school with 30 students of science and biology run by the institution has also been upgraded to higher secondary level.

It is noteworthy that Dawat-ul-Haq Hospital is the first medical facility provided by an Islamic madrassa in Rajasthan. The hospital provides health care facilities to people of all religions, castes and races at moderate cost. Apart from this, the hospital has emergency, ambulance and medical store facility available round the clock while the hospital has also played a significant role in institutional delivery of women in the area.

Maulana Muhammad Ayub Qasmi, head of Dawat-ul-Haq Organization, said that the initiative of institutional delivery in the hospital is a source of pride for the women of the area who were previously deprived of medical assistance during pregnancy and childbirth due to lack of proper health facilities. were The hospital has four full-time doctors, including a gynaecologist, 28 nursing personnel and other paramedical staff.

According to this Islamic madrassa, 4600 students, including girls, are studying in its 14 schools, madrasas and maktabs running in Auntra and other villages of Ajmer district, in which religious and modern education is provided and hostel facilities are also provided. goes The hospital is equipped with modern facilities.

Auntra, 26 km from Ajmer, has a population of 6,000, the village has a basic health center that only refers patients to the Kishangarh tehsil headquarters as well as major hospitals in the district headquarters. X-ray machine and sonography machine have also been installed in Dawat-ul-Haq Hospital.

Maulana Qasmi, 54, said that an ICU and a special care unit for children are currently being built in the hospital, while the construction of a full-fledged pediatric ward and the establishment of a 100-bed nursing college are also underway. . The hospital has become popular among the villagers of the area due to the presence of experienced gynecologist Dr. Shabana for delivery in the hospital.

Doctors at the hospital are specialists in general medicine and regularly treat patients suffering from seasonal diseases. In addition, the Madrasah has already performed around 250 cataract operations and other eye operations for villagers at a private hospital in Kishangarh.
