Jaipur : Monsoon rains have wreaked havoc in Rajasthan and an atmosphere of fear has been created for the people in many areas. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning that heavy rains may occur in more than half of the state on Thursday as well. There is a threat of rain in 18 districts including Jaipur, Jodhpur and Kota. Due to this rain, the temperature in the entire state remains below 38 degrees.
Heavy rain in Bharatpur, Jaipur, Ajmer and Kota divisions on August 15
According to the Meteorological Department, a circulation system has formed in north-eastern Rajasthan which extends up to 5.8 kilometers. The monsoon trough line is passing through Bikaner today. Due to all these reasons, there is a possibility of heavy and very heavy rains at some places in Bharatpur, Jaipur, Ajmer and Kota divisions on August 15.

Yellow alert issued for 18 districts
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for 18 districts. These include Ajmer, Alwar, Baran, Bhilwara, Bundi, Dausa, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Kota, Karauli, Sawai Madhopur, Sikar, Tonk, Churu, Jodhpur, Nagaur and Pali. Apart from these, there may be rain in Barmer, Bikaner, Hanumangarh, Jaisalmer and Sri Ganganagar.

Some relief from rain is expected after August 17
There is a possibility of some relief from rain in eastern Rajasthan after August 17. At the same time, there may be strong storms and heavy rains in some areas of Bikaner and Jodhpur divisions of western Rajasthan for the next 3-4 days. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in the Udaipur division in the coming days.
