A temperature of 37.0 degrees Celsius was also recorded in Sangaria. Except Mount Abu, the maximum temperature of all the districts of the state remained above 31 degrees Celsius. Although dark clouds also loomed over many districts, there is no news of heavy rain. Yes, 7 mm of rain was recorded in Kunwaria area of ​​Rajsamand.

The rainy season may start again from tomorrow

Amidst clear weather, the weather centre Jaipur has predicted rain again in eastern Rajasthan from tomorrow. According to the department’s report, the weather of the state will be clear on Monday, September 16, but on Tuesday, September 17, heavy rain is expected in four districts of the state, Alwar, Banswara, Baran and Bharatpur.

Heavy rain alert in 14 districts on August 18

On Wednesday, August 18, there may be heavy rain in 14 districts namely Alwar, Banswara, Baran, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dausa, Dholpur, Dungarpur, Jhalawar, Karauli, Pratapgarh and Sawai Madhopur. Similarly, on Thursday, August 19, an alert has been issued for heavy rain in Alwar, Banswara, Baran, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dausa, Dholpur, Dungarpur, Jhalawar, Karauli, Pratapgarh, Sawai Madhopur, Jaipur, Kota and Rajsamand districts.

Jaisalmer has the highest rainfall above average

Monsoon was very kind to Rajasthan this time. Except Jhalawar district, all other districts received more rain than normal. Out of 33 districts (according to old districts), most of them received several times more rain than the average. Maximum 152 percent more rain was recorded in Jaisalmer of western Rajasthan. The average rainfall in Jaisalmer is 169.9 mm whereas 427.7 mm rain was recorded there. Similarly, 144 percent more rain was recorded in Dausa, 115 percent in Karauli, 111 percent in Dholpur, 103 percent in Tonk and 102 percent in Sawai Madhopur. Jhalawar received 4 percent less rain than normal.
