Jaipur: Bhajanlal government’s cabinet minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore reached Jaipur’s Shiprapath police station on Monday afternoon and reprimanded the policemen and officers. Minister Rathore says that a day earlier, a case of misbehavior and assault by policemen with an army man has come to light. Regarding the assault on the army person, the minister first spoke to the DGP and the Police Commissioner and instructed them to take action against the policemen. After instructing the senior officials to take action, Minister Rathore reached the police station. A team of media persons was with him. Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore said that a soldier, who is posted as a commando in Baramulla, was brutally beaten up by the policemen. He was stripped naked and beaten and it was said that the police is the father of the army. Colonel Rathore said that the incident of assault on a soldier is not normal. Strict action should be taken against the policemen who beat him up.
