Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor starrer movie ‘Stri Two’. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film stars Rajkumar Rao opposite her. This comedy-horror movie was released on 3000 screens worldwide on August 15.
On the first day of its release, ‘Stri Two’ hit the theaters. Several Hindi movies have been released this year. It topped the list of highest opening day grossing movies. Not only that, ‘Stree 2’ tops the list of highest grossing Hindi movies this year.
‘Stree 2’ has been made on a budget of Rs 78.19 crore (over Tk 110 crore 86 lakh). It is produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande. On the 15th-16th day of release, the box office revenue decreased slightly. But on the 17th day it doubled. Rajkumar-Shraddha movie’s Jayarath is running at double speed.
According to Saknilk data, ‘Stree 2’ earned Rs 527.5 crore (gross) in India alone in 17 days of release. 103 crore earned abroad. The movie grossed Rs 630.5 crore worldwide (over Tk 898.62 million in Bangladeshi currency).
Not only at the box office, the audience and critics are also appreciating the movie. According to data from Rotten Tomatoes, 78 percent of the 9 reviewers gave positive reviews. Rated the movie 6.5 out of ten. Bollywood Hungama rated 4.5 out of five.
Apart from Shraddha-Rajkumar, the movie also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, Mushtaq Khan and others. Apart from that, several stars have acted in cameo roles in the movie. Akshay Kumar, Tamannaah Bhatia, Varun Dhawan and others are in this list.
