Patna: Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that some leaders are posting pictures of meat-based food on social media during Navratri to satisfy a section of voters. The defense minister’s remarks were against RJD leader and former Bihar Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav’s video of him eating fish.
‘You eat fish on Navratri. What message are you sending? Fish, pig, pigeon, elephant or horse can be eaten. You can eat whatever you want. But why show all that? It’s for the vote. Appeasement is only for politics. Because of this people of a particular religion think they will vote for them. I request you to deal with such people.” – Rajnath Singh said at BJP’s general conference in Jamui, Bihar.
Meanwhile, Tejashwi Yadav’s response was that the video of him eating fish was before Navratri. “We have uploaded this video to test BJP’s IQ. Our thinking proved correct. But what do the poor followers know?’ – said Tejashwi Yadav.
Rajnath Singh also said that those who are in jail and on bail are talking about sending Prime Minister Narendra Modi to jail. Rajnath Singh replied to RJD MP and Lalu Prasad Yadav’s daughter Misha Bharti.
