Raju and Unni have some similarities, may direct sometime commercial film: Rahul Madhav
Rahul Madhav says that Unni Mukundan has a good knowledge of the technical aspects behind films and has the potential to become a director in the future. Rahul said that during the shooting of Twelfth Man, he took the video of the people on the set and edited it into a small clip. Rahul’s remarks were made in an interview given to Kaumudi Movies along with director Anoop Pantalam and Unni Mukundan as part of the promotion of Shefiq’s new film Santosh.
‘Prithviraj is technically terrific sounding. Knows everything behind the camera and its technical aspects. Likewise, Unni is technically sound. He is a good actor and is likely to become a director doing commercial films. Why am I saying all this, Unni Mukundan Films should make a film with me,’ said Rahul.
This is not what you said, he said that I will produce the film when you direct it. Rahul also laughed hearing what Unni Mukundan said.
If you want, if you give me five minutes, I will shoot a short clip. Then the spot will be edited on the phone. While shooting Twelfth Man, Saiju and I would shoot something that was still standing and edit it after five minutes. I would think he was the one who shot all this. Technically Unni sounds awesome. I feel every possibility to become a good director,’ said Rahul.
After the film Mepadiyaan, Unni Mukundan’s Shefiq’s Khasada will hit the theaters on November 25. The film tells the story of a young expatriate from an ordinary family in a small village called Parathot.
Divya Pilli, Sminu Sijo, Bala and Manoj K. Other characters are played by Jayan and Shaheen Siddique.
