Hyderabad Police has arrested actor Aman Preet Singh, brother of actress Rakul Preet Singh. He was arrested in a drugs case after a joint operation by the Narcotics Bureau and Rajendra Nagar SOT police under the jurisdiction of Cyberabad Police. The police held a press conference in Hyderabad on Monday, July 15, to discuss the case. They confirmed that Aman was arrested in the recent drug smuggling case. The police further said that five people were arrested in connection with the case. However, Aman’s name came in the list of 13 people who consumed drugs and he was found positive in his test. Police confirmed that he will be produced in court soon. In the press conference, the police said, ‘It can be told only after the investigation is done, with whom Aman is connected. We have to investigate when Anan’s connection started with the accused, which also includes some Indians and Nigerians.’

The police further said, ‘Some of them are those who have committed the crime multiple times. But we believe that all this could be one and a half years old. Aman has been found positive for cocaine consumption in the urine test. It has been confirmed that he is an actor, he did not reveal whether he is from Tollywood or another industry.’
Rakul Preet Singh has no connection with the drugs case
Rakul was earlier summoned by the Enforcement Directorate in the alleged money laundering case linked to the drugs case. When asked about this, the police said, ‘She has nothing to do with this case, we are not investigating her, there is no need to unnecessarily drag her name, so we will not comment on this.’
In the case of Aman’s arrest, police seized cocaine and passport
In Aman’s case, the police seized 199 grams of cocaine, 2 passports, 2 bikes and 10 cell phones. Onuoha Blessing, Azeez Noham Adeshola, Alla Sathya Venkat Gautam, Sanaboina Varun Kumar and Mohammed Mehboob Shariff have been arrested as accused smugglers while Divine Ebuka Suji and Ezionili Franklin Uchenna have absconded.
