Ralf Schumacher (49) and his former wife Cora Schumacher (47) are continuing their bitter public feud. After the racing driver published a chat history between himself, his partner Étienne Bousquet-Cassagne, and Cora Schumacher on August 16, which was meant to show that his ex-wife was indeed aware of the love between the two despite her own claims, Cora Schumacher has now retaliated.
On Instagram, the 47-year-old shared private messages that, according to information from “Bild,” are said to date from April 17, 2023.
“I feel compelled to take this step”
In her post, Schumacher writes that her ex-husband is trying to “discredit and portray her as a liar.” For that reason, she feels “compelled to take this step.” Referring to the chat history released by Ralf Schumacher, she claims she had “only tried to find out at least the truth from HIM (Étienne).” Cora Schumacher asked the couple in the conversation shared by Ralf if they were married.
Due to Ralf Schumacher’s release of a private conversation, she has had to endure “a wave of hate and defamation online.” “I am being accused of things that have no basis in truth,” she continues on Instagram. And: “I have never lied!”
For all the aforementioned reasons, Cora Schumacher states that she is taking the step to also make a private chat public. In the conversation, she asks ex-husband Ralf why Étienne is “there all the time.” He replies: “Yes, he’s always with me. Assistant and responsible for everything 24/7.”

Clearly, Cora Schumacher aims to show that Ralf Schumacher did not tell the whole truth about his relationship with Étienne at least at that time in April 2023. Because in April of last year, Ralf Schumacher is said to have already been in a relationship with his current partner.
Cora Schumacher had recently claimed in a “Spiegel” interview that she only found out about Ralf’s relationship with Étienne through his public coming out. “In all this back and forth, I want to make it clear that Cora congratulated us in September (early October) 2023 because she thought we had gotten married. She was also happy about it, as you can personally see from this message to Étienne. I feel sorry for Étienne and me that she spreads so many lies. We both just want to have our peace,” Ralf Schumacher wrote about it.
Cora Schumacher responded with a bitter: “How pathetic must a person be to unlawfully publish private WhatsApp messages in order to obscure the truth.”
