After Cora Schumacher (47) gave an interview to Spiegel where she also spoke about the new relationship of the former racing driver, Ralf now speaks out personally – and denies several statements made by his ex-wife.

When Ralf Schumacher publicly announced his love for a man in July, his ex, Cora, claims she knew nothing about it. At least, that’s what the 47-year-old claims in her interview with Spiegel: “I wish Ralf had involved me or at least informed me. I would have seen that as a sign of respect. Instead, I learned about his coming out from the media.” Allegedly, she also knew nothing about his partner Etienne. “If the media now suddenly creates the impression that Ralf had officially introduced Étienne to me a long time ago, that is a lie,” Cora said.

Ralf seems to see it a bit differently! He published a WhatsApp conversation between his ex Cora and his partner Etienne. The conversation starts on October 6 when Cora sends the Frenchman four emojis – including a wedding ring and a church. Etienne reacts in surprise and asks what Cora is getting at. According to the screenshot, she writes: “I was told that you are married because you both wear rings on your right finger. I am so happy for you!” The general manager then explains that he is French and that wedding rings are worn on the left in France – on the side of the heart.
To the conversation, Ralf writes: “Amid all the back and forth, I want to clarify that Cora congratulated us in September 2023 because she thought we had gotten married. She was also happy. As you can take from this message to Etienne personally. I feel sorry for Etienne and me that she spreads so many lies. All we want is to have our peace.”
