South actor Ram Charan is soon going to add another achievement to his kitty. He will receive an honorary doctorate from the University of Wales, Chennai on April 13. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Director Shankar and many celebrities have received this title. Ever since Ram debuted with Chirutha in 2007, he has received praise for his performances in several films. Over the years, he has won Nandi Awards, Filmfare, South Indian International Movie Awards and more. He was also nominated for the Critics’ Choice Awards in the Best Actor category for ‘RRR’. The University of Wales Award is given to renowned personalities in many fields. Ram Charan has received honors for his contribution to entertainment and business. The actor is currently shooting for ‘Game Changer’, directed by Shankar and starring Kiara Advani, SJ Surya, Anjali, Sunil, Naveen Chandra. The film will release on Dussehra in September, the official release date of which is yet to be announced. He has also given his approval to a film with Janhvi Kapoor. The film will have music by AR Rahman and will go on floors soon.
