The flights will be scheduled to depart Casablanca at 4:45 p.m. (local time) for arrival in Toronto at 7:25 p.m. (local time), while the return flights will leave Toronto at 9:30 p.m. (local time) for landing in Casablanca at 10:50 a.m. (D+1), the same source continued.
Furthermore, the flights will be operated by Boeing 787 Dreamliners, Royal Air Maroc announced.
This is the national airline’s second direct flight to Canada, strengthening RAM’s Americas network, which currently includes direct flights connecting its Casablanca Hub to Montreal, New York, Washington, Miami and Sao Paolo, which will be reestablished from December 7.
“The upcoming launch of the Casablanca-Toronto line primarily responds to the strong demand from Moroccans living in Canada, particularly in Ontario,” stressed RAM’s President and CEO, Hamid Addou, according to the press release.
“It will therefore strengthen the company’s existing significant offering, which has had the historic Casablanca-Montreal route since 1975 and which now operates two flights per day. Thus, the flights to Toronto and Montreal will offer even more facilities and comfort to our fellow citizens living in Canada,” he added.
And to note that this new line is part of the company’s commitments within the framework of the development plan signed with the government in July 2023, which will undoubtedly contribute to strengthening economic relations between the two countries as well as to the tourist influence of the Morocco destination.
