Ram Nath Kovind: President Ram Nath Kovind accepts the love of Kerala; He will return to Delhi today

Thiruvananthapuram: After visiting Kerala, President Ram Nath Kovind will return to Delhi today. The President will stay at the Raj Bhavan and leave Thiruvananthapuram Airport for Delhi at 10.20 am. Traffic will be restricted in Thiruvananthapuram from 7 am to 11 am. Police said parking will not be allowed on the road through the President and nearby areas.

President Ramnath Kovind, who arrived in Kerala yesterday, was given a warm welcome in Kochi. The President, who is on a visit to Kerala, also paid a visit to the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple yesterday. Ramnath Kovind and his family visited the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple last night.

The President was warmly received by the office bearers on his arrival at the temple. They left the President after presenting a gift. Ramnath Kovind arrived in the capital from Kochi yesterday morning. He visited the temple after unveiling the statue of PN Panicker, the founder of the library movement, at Poojappura. Earlier, while unveiling the statue of PN Panicker, the President had lauded the health workers in Kerala.

He pointed out that the work done by the doctors and nurses in Kerala during the Kovid period, including abroad, was commendable. Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and others were present on the occasion. The President was accompanied by his wife Savita Kovind and daughter Swathi.
