Ram Temple Inauguration: PM Modi Announces ‘Pradhan Mantri Suryodaya Yojana’ for One Crore Houses

by time news

Read more Ram Temple has been built in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh at a cost of Rs.2,000 crore. The Ram Temple was built on only 2.7 acres of the 70 acres allotted for the temple. Following this, the opening ceremony of Ram Temple was held today under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. After the special pooja, the baby Rama idol was opened and consecrated. Prime Minister Modi performed the first pooja to Lord Rama and offered Deeparathan. The temple sanctum was curtained off and opened to public view.

Subsequently, in a post published by Prime Minister Modi X on social media, he said, “On the auspicious occasion of the consecration of the idol of Lord Rama today in Ayodhya, my determination has been strengthened that the people of India should have their own solar roof systems on the roofs of their houses. According to this, solar roofs are going to be installed on one crore houses in India.

For this a scheme called ‘Pradham Mantri Suryodaya Yojana’ is going to be launched. This will not only reduce the electricity bills of the poor and middle class but will also make India self-sufficient in the energy sector. This is the first decision I have taken after returning from Ayodhya.
