Trichy: DMK Minister KN Nehru’s brother and businessman KN Ramajayam can report any information regarding the murder case. Superintendent of Police Special Investigation Team S. Jayakumar has asked.

KN Ramajayam was assassinated on March 29, 2012. So far no clue has been found about the killers in this case. Meanwhile, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) headed by Inspector S. Jayakumar, Assistant Superintendent of Police R. Madan, CBI DSP Hari and various police divisions has been set up under the supervision of Director, Criminal Investigation Division, Hakil Akhtar to investigate the murder case of KN Ramajayam as per the High Court order.

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has recently visited the place where KN Ramajayam was allegedly abducted, the usual walkways and the place where the body was found and have been going to various places like Trichy, Salem, Coimbatore, Cuddalore and Pondicherry to investigate various parties.

In this case, the Director of Criminal Investigation has ordered the appointment of an additional 40 persons to this Special Investigation Team, including Assistant Superintendents of Police and Police Inspectors. All of them will be divided into 5 or 6 special teams led by police investigators and will launch a very in-depth investigation in a couple of days into the KN Ramajayam murder case from different angles. In addition, the Special Investigation Commission will report to the court every 15 days on the status of the case as per the High Court order.
