Tamil Nadu Cricket Association, Tamil Nadu Cricket Association, TNCA, Chennai, is conducting Ramasamy Cup cricket matches between city schools. The quarter finals started yesterday in Chennai.
In it, Santhome St. Pete’s and Pallikaranai Jalladianpet St. Public School clashed.
Batting first, St. Pete’s scored 253 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 50 overs.
Batting next, St. Public School were bowled out for 116 runs in 38.1 overs. Thus, St. Pete’s team won by 137 runs.
In another match, Mylapore Vidya Mandir School defeated Sethupattu Sir Mutha School by two wickets. In other matches, Kerugampakkam BSPP Millennium defeated KK Nagar Padma Seshatri Bala Bhavan School by 46 runs and Lalaji Omega School defeated Ramachandra Public School, Kottivakkam by five wickets. Competitions are ongoing.
