A shooting was reported by security guards near Rambam Hospital in Haifa. A Rambam spokesman said: “We are currently investigating reports of an incident in the vicinity of the medical campus.”
It was later revealed that a suspicious person who arrived at the scene refused to identify himself at the request of the security guards, at one point the suspect tried to escape on foot and one of the security guards performed a suspicious arrest procedure towards him including shooting in the air without casualties.
A police force was called to the scene and the NCO of the Rambam Medical Center, who was present at the scene, arrested the suspect.
At this point, the suspect, born in 1998, a resident of Kfar Metzar, was transferred to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
