The playoffs in the National League continued today (Tuesday) with great drama when at the end AS Ramesh balanced the quarter-final series to 1:1 after 100:101 over Maccabi Urban Ramat Gan.
It was probably the best playoff game this season. Both teams delivered a tremendous game with high level execution and basket swinging, with the lead working close 10 times and 12 times the board showed parity between the teams. The locals were helped by Tyler Weidman who scored 7 3-pointers in the first half without making a foul and led his team to a 50:53 lead going into the locker rooms. The even game continued in the second half as well, and Amit Abo made sure that his team ran away towards the end. Maccabi Urban Ramat Gan did not raise their hands and 6 seconds to the end, trailing by a point, an unsportsmanlike foul was squeezed. Harel Dedon was sent to the line but missed twice and Kevin Keifers missed from half distance and the game was decided in favor of the home team who balance the series.
