Rami Kleinstein Over the years became one of the creators the most important in Israel, one who wrote some of the great classics of the Hebrew singer. It may be hard to believe, but even a successful singer like Kleinstein was once a young and dreamy singer, with difficulties and ambitions. Here, an archive reveals a segment from a program in which he took part in 1978, which gives a glimpse of the difficulties experienced by the 16-year-old Kleinstein.

“Not every promoter wants to see young musicians at all”
The younger Kleinstein added two more difficulties which most likely remained far behind. The first thing that the 16-year-old Kleinstein describes is “finding a promoter, not every promoter wants to see young musicians, they usually prefer people who are already on their way” and another problem that surfaced is the issue of the money needed in order to succeed in the field: “Money doesn’t flow with us, so we have to find a source” said.
