After concert cancellations due to corona, the Berlin band around Till Lindemann is now back with the audience. Her new album is due out at the end of the month.
The Berlin band Rammstein (“Zeit”) takes on the world of cosmetic surgery in a new song. The group around singer Till Lindemann announced “Zick Zack” on Sunday via their social media channels.
The song is scheduled to be released on Thursday (April 7) at 6 p.m. From the new album “Zeit” with eleven songs, which is announced for April 29th, Rammstein released the title track in March.
There were first indications of “Zick Zack” on Friday, April 1st. A post was shown for a few minutes showing a photo of an operating room in a beauty clinic with the Rammstein mark on the medical furniture.
Concerts planned in May
For the new song, the band released photos of the musicians, which appear to show them after only moderately successful cosmetic surgery. Rammstein used a similar masquerade in the video for the song “Keine Lust”, in which the musicians play as heavily overweight men.
The album was also possible because the band had to postpone the second part of the successful European tour several times due to corona. Now it should continue in May. The German concerts are scheduled to start in Leipzig, where the musicians want to play on May 20th and 21st, 2022. (dpa)
