Rana Sanaullah Slams PTI for Undermining Pakistan’s Independence Day

ISLAMABAD: Advisor to the Prime Minister on Political and Public Affairs Rana Sanaullah on Sunday accused the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) of prioritizing political point-scoring over the country’s interests.

Rana Sanaullah, a key advisor to the Prime Minister, leveled strong accusations against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Sunday. He stated that the opposition party is putting its own political gains ahead of Pakistan’s national interests. This criticism comes as the country prepares for significant national celebrations.

Speaking to a private news channel, Sanaullah acknowledged the opposition’s right to protest. However, he urged them to reschedule any planned demonstrations. “On August 14th, the entire nation will celebrate,” he remarked. “Creating chaos and anarchy on that day is extremely unfortunate and goes against our traditions.”

  • Rana Sanaullah accuses PTI of prioritizing politics over national interest.
  • He urges PTI to avoid protests on August 14th, Pakistan’s Independence Day.
  • Sanaullah claims PTI used the August 5th Kashmir Solidarity Day for political motives.
  • He alleges PTI leaders incited violence, leading to attacks on government property.
  • Police reportedly possess evidence, including recordings of secret unrest plans.

PTI Accused of Exploiting Kashmir Solidarity Day

The advisor also pointed to the protest held on August 5th. He noted that this date marks Kashmir Solidarity Day. “The entire nation stood with Kashmiris,” Sanaullah said. Yet, he contended, “the opposition chose to pursue political agendas instead of showing solidarity.” This suggests a perceived insensitivity to national commemorations.

Further allegations from Sanaullah painted a concerning picture of PTI’s actions. He claimed that PTI leaders actively incited violence. According to his statement, PTI supporters were responsible for attacks on government buildings and installations. This paints a stark image of escalating political tensions.

Evidence of Incitement Alleged

Adding weight to his claims, Sanaullah revealed that police have gathered evidence. This evidence reportedly includes undercover recordings. These recordings allegedly capture meetings where “secret plans” to incite unrest were discussed. Such evidence, if verified, could have significant legal and political ramifications.
