After completing the technical setup, Rana Verona has also defined the medical and physiotherapy staff for the 2024/2025 season of SuperLega Credem Banca. After three seasons, Dr. Alberto Ciacciarelli will no longer be the social doctor of the first team. We would like to thank him for his dedication and the valuable work he carried out during the first three years of Verona Volley. Dr. Roberto Filippini continues to hold the role of social doctor of the Club, becoming the key figure within the medical department who will be supported by Dr. Simone Baldini. As regards the physiotherapy sector, the department manager Claudio Bignotti will be joined by two new professionals: Michele De Biasi, massage physiotherapist, and Igor Ventresca, physiotherapist.

A native of Sondrio, Simone Baldini attended the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in English at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, graduating in March 2023. He is currently completing his specialization in physiatry at the University of Verona, while working in the orthopedic rehabilitation department at the Sacro Cuore Hospital in Negrar di Valpolicella.

After graduating in massophysiotherapy at the three-year training course in Perugia in 2008, Michele De Biasi worked for some of the most well-known rehabilitation centers in Verona, then entering the world of sport with the experience at Sambonifacese, which at the time played in the Serie C football team. Later, he was part of the youth sector staff of Hellas Verona and of Calzedonia Verona volleyball. Then, he moved to cycling at the Bardiani company, before moving in 2021 to Astana Qazaqstan Team, one of the most important road cycling teams, included in the UCI World Tour.

Igor Ventresca completes the physiotherapy department. Born in Sulmona and graduated first in Motor Sciences and then in Physiotherapy at the University of L’Aquila, he began his professional career at Isokinetic in Rome, then arriving at the Verona branch of the rehabilitation center, where he worked for eleven years. During this period, Ventresca took care of the recovery of Hellas Verona players and some of the most important referees in Serie A soccer such as Daniele Orsato. After this experience, he moved to the Orthopedic Rehabilitation and Sports Traumatology Service of the IRCCS Ospedale Sacro Cuore Don Calabria. Here he came into contact with the reality of Verona Volley.
