President Ranil Wickremesinghe visited the Apostolic Embassy in Colombo today (04) to offer his condolences to the former Pope Benedict XVI on his enthronement.
The President met the Vatican’s Apostolic Envoy to Sri Lanka, St. Brian Udegwe, and had a short conversation with him.
Tribute to Pope
President Ranil Wickramasinghe left a note in the special book kept there and also paid tribute to the photograph of the Holy Pope Benedict XVI.
