Maithiri Wickramasinghe, the first lady of the country, Senior Professor of the Department of English, Kelani University and an experienced feminist on gender equality and equality, visited Jaffna today.
He has gone to Jaffna to deliver a keynote speech at a research conference titled “Development in a new normal state through gender balance and equality” to be held at the University of Jaffna.
In the Jaffna University International Research Conference (JUICE-2022) series, which is being held under the theme of Shaping the Future in the New Normal, the Department of Gender Equality and Gender Equality of the University said, “Shaping the Future in the New Normal” A study conference titled “Achieving Development” will be held today Friday at Kailasapati Art Gallery.
