Guwahati: India’s Under-19 cricket team captain Yash Dhull has been named in the Ranji Trophy history list. Dul became the third Indian to score a century in both innings in his Ranji Trophy debut. Dulle’s victory was against Tamil Nadu in Guwahati. This time he led the team when India lifted the Under-19 (U19 World Cup) World Cup.
Only Nari Contractor (Gujarat) and Virat Swate (Maharashtra) have scored centuries in the previous two innings. He scored 113 runs in both the innings. The player, who normally plays in the midfield, was asking for the opening position this time.
Dull scored 113 off 202 balls in the second innings. This includes one six and 14 fours. He completed his century in the first innings with 150 balls to spare. This will include 18 boundaries. Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and India captain Rohit Sharma have both scored centuries in their Ranji debuts.

Shah Rukh Khan (194 off 148 balls) and Indrajith (117) were the fastest batsmen to score centuries. Delhi were 228 not out in the second innings. Apart from Dull, Drew Shore remained unbeaten on 107. The match ended in a draw when it was found to be ineffective.
