Ranjith | If Dileep is on the plane I am boarding, should I jump out of it?

After inviting actress Bhavana to the inaugural function of the Kerala International Film Festival (IFFK), director Ranjith shared the stage with actor Dileep. The two arrived at the same venue at a conference of the FEUOK, an organization of exhibitors. Ranjith responded to the high criticism against this.

“I did not go to Dileep’s house. I do not see anything wrong with that. I was invited by Fiok’s representatives. Should I jump out of the plane if I have Dileep on board? Despite the face of the government, the relationship with the filmmakers will continue.

Ranjith was also criticized for coming to the Aluva sub-jail to meet Dileep when he was remanded in custody in 2017 after the IFFK inauguration ceremony in which he survived. Ranjit explained that the visit was a ‘coincidence’. Meanwhile, during the function, Dileep praised Ranjith as the most suitable person to head the academy.

Ranjith also said that the problems of theater owners have been brought before the government. Kerala Cultural Welfare Development Board Chairman Madhupal also attended the meeting.
