Ranjith murder case: Four SDPI activists arrested Kerala | Deshabhimani

Alappuzha: Four more SDPI activists have been arrested in connection with the murder of BJP OBC Morcha state secretary Ranjith Srinivasan. Two suspects who were directly involved in the crime, one who was involved in the conspiracy and one who was given a SIM card were arrested on Saturday.

Police arrested Saifuddin, 48, of Punnakkal backyard in Valiyamaram ward, Alappuzha, and Punnapra South Valiyaparambu Mohammad Badusha, 27, of Punnapra South Valiyaparambu, who were involved in the conspiracy. Two Alappuzha residents who went into hiding in another district after the murder have been arrested. Police have not released their names as it could adversely affect the investigation. The police said that they had received crucial information from the interrogation of the arrested accused.

Badusha was arrested for forging SIM cards and forging documents for the killers. A case has been registered against him by the Punnapra police for forging documents and cheating him in connection with taking away two SIM cards and giving one SIM card to the suspects in the Alappuzha Ranjith murder case. The police will look into whether more such SIM cards have been graded.
