Robson Faciroli, 44, has already been sentenced to 15 years in prison for the rape of teenagers in Candomblé terreiro in the neighborhood of Taquarussu, in Campo Grande, for paying R$5,000 and killing his rival Douglas Sarmento – a crime that occurred in 2022 Now, pai de santo is the target of yet another investigation, suspected of doping and raping teenagers. In 2008, Sarmento’s executor, André Luiz Vasques de Souza, went to the police and confessed to the crime, because he was afraid of Robson. He said that he received the amount from Faciroli, age 22 and already a saint at the time, to kill Sarmento. Then, André surprised the victim, who was killed with two shots to the head.
Sarmento and Robson shared the same faith, but often disagreed. At his trial the following year, 2009, judge Aluizio Pereira dos Santos sentenced Faciroli to 15 years in prison.
22 years later, it is again investigated by the police. This time, for the rape of a vulnerable person. It was a 16-year-old teenager who went to DEPCA (Special Police Station for the Protection of Children and Young People) on Monday (30), where he reported that he was the victim of abuse by Robson.
The boy said he lived in the terreiro with the pai de santo and in exchange for the shelter, he cleaned the place and cooked. Early on Monday morning, the teenager said that he was drunk by the religious man and attacked several times. He managed to escape and went to the police station.
The boy also reported, also yesterday morning, that the author lured another 16-year-old teenager to the residence, offered him alcoholic drinks and gave him medication. The victim was drugged so that the pai de santo would later sexually assault her. “The team of investigators went to the residence, where they found the teenager unconscious and injured”, says a note from the Civil Police.

In addition, images from the terreiro’s security cameras show the time when the teenager was in the residence, “losing his balance several times and being dragged by the man, because he could not walk”. There were blood stains on the room where the minor was placed and he was rescued.
Robson was arrested for the crime of supplying alcohol to teenagers, ill-treatment of the minor who complained and rape of a vulnerable person committed against the other teenager, who was unable to resist.
