Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperative Adviser AF Hasan Arif said that heavy rains and landslides in the country have caused extensive damage in the southeastern part of the country due to recent flash floods. Crops have been damaged in flood affected areas. Many cattle were washed away by the floods. Roads were damaged. Rapid rehabilitation of flood victims is possible if everyone comes forward.
Adviser AF Hasan Arif said these things in his office at the Secretariat on Sunday (September 1).
Earlier, CP Bangladesh Company Limited donated Tk 40 lakh to the Chief Adviser’s Relief Fund to assist the victims of the ongoing floods in Bangladesh. CP allocates one day’s salary of all officers/employees working in Bangladesh and this amount from the organization’s own relief fund to the Chief Adviser’s relief fund. CP Bangladesh Company Limited is a subsidiary of CP Group. Since 1988, CP Bangladesh has been working in agriculture, poultry industry of Bangladesh. With the dream of building Kitchen of Bangladesh, the organization has established its own feed mills, breeder farms, hatcheries, GP farms, CP five stars, fish feed mills across the country.

If big institutions like CP Bangladesh come forward, this disaster can be overcome soon. After the meeting, Suchat Suntipada handed over a check of 40 lakh rupees to the Local Government Advisor. At that time, Sampab Kanokparn, Supat Thadajan, Akram Hossain, Syed Javrod Barki and Sohail Rana were also present on behalf of CP Bangladesh.
