Quick swabs at 8 euros for under 18s even in private healthcare facilities. The memorandum of understanding was signed today which will guarantee the administration of rapid antigen tests, valid for the issuance of the Green pass, at a controlled price also for private health facilities, authorized or accredited with the national health service and authorized by the regions. The agreement, prepared by the extraordinary Commissioner Francesco Paolo Figliuolo in agreement with the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza, provides for the same conditions as the protocol already signed with the pharmacies.
In particular, even at the participating health facilities, it will be possible to carry out rapid antigen tests at the price of 8 euros for minors between the ages of 12 and 18 and 15 euros for those over 18. In analogy to the other protocol, for the tests carried out in favor of minors, a contribution from the Public Administration equal to 7 euros is foreseen and therefore the overall remuneration for the health structures will be equal to 15.
The protocol will be valid until 30 September 2021 and the list of participating structures will be published on the institutional website of the Extraordinary Commissioner for the Covid-19 emergency.
