Rapper Blueface, whose real name is Johnathan Jamall Porter, was hospitalized after being stabbed at a boxing gym in Reseda on Wednesday. The incident occurred at Kaminsky Boxing Gym at 10:33 a.m., and the police were notified about an assault with a deadly weapon. Although the police did not confirm Blueface as the victim, he later posted on social media about the incident.

In an Instagram story, Blueface revealed, “I won’t be able to fight October 14th. I was stabbed today by some random guy. Won’t heal up in time.” The rapper had been training at the gym for an upcoming fight. The video footage before the stabbing shows a man approaching Blueface while a boxing trainer intervenes. Blueface strikes the man multiple times before the video cuts off before the alleged stabbing.

According to trainer David Kaminsky, the alleged stabber barged into the gym, shouting, “I’m gonna kill you.” The suspected stabber fled the scene in a black Tesla Model S with no license plates, as reported by the police. The video evidence and witness accounts are being used to further investigate the incident.

Blueface rose to prominence with his viral video “Respect My Cryppin” and was subsequently signed to Cash Money West, a label under Birdman’s Cash Money Records. His 2019 remix of the song “Thotiana” featuring Cardi B and YG became his most successful track, peaking at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100. He released his debut album, “Find the Beat,” in 2020.

As of now, there is no update on Blueface’s current condition following the stabbing. The investigation is ongoing to apprehend the alleged stabber and gather more details about the incident.
